Major Life-Saving Surgery Successfully Performed

Mrs. Lilaben Gomanbhai Vasava (66 years) from Koyli village, Taluka Netrang had been suffering from abdominal pain and loss of appetite for the past 6 months. Despite consulting multiple doctors, her condition did not improve.
She later consulted Dr. Jignesh Patel at Kakaba Hospital, Hansot, where investigations revealed a periampullary mass in the head of pancreas with obstructive jaundice.
The patient first underwent ERCP with CBD stenting to relieve the obstruction, followed by a complex Whipple’s surgery, which was successfully performed on 19 February 2026 by Dr. Jignesh Patel.

Successful Recovery
