2006-2009 Orthopedics postgraduates.- teaching the Post- graduate students in ward rounds , during out patient department, during surgery and in seminar rooms during clinical case presentation and also giving guidance in research work performed by post graduate students. Guiding the students and junior colleagues in surgeries.

  • Dr. Jay was awarded Gold Medal for best performance in M.S.(Orthopaedics) Examinations by M.S.University, Baroda, Gujarat, India.
  • Won 2nd Prize in State Ortho Quiz (2006-07) organized by Gujarat Orthopaedic Association on the subject “ Outcome after open reduction and internal fixation of intra articular fractures of the calcaneum without the use of bone grafts”
  • Represented Gujarat at 51st Annual Conference of Indian Orthopaedic Association held at New Delhi and stood at 4th position in National Ortho Quiz (2006-07) organized by Indian Orthopaedic Association held


My dissertation topic was “Long Term Follow Up Of Total Knee Arthroplasty for Tricompartmental Osteoarthritis of Knee Joint ( A Study of 27 Knees) It was a prospective study of 27 knees in 18 patients (9 bilateral and 9 unilateral) with maximum follow up of 5 years (100% survival rate). The dissertation has been already accepted by and submitted to “M.S. University, Vadodara, Gujarat, India”.
